BUNER/KHAR: Two shepherd boys were killed and a yo
ung girl s
ustained injuries in a grenade explosion in Khaista Baba on Sunday, officials said.
Deputy Commissioner Zariful Mani told reporters that the boys, Gulzada (14), Sultanzeb (16), and the
ir sister Bakhti Haram, found a grenade when the
y were grazing their flock of sheep.
The
y were playing with the grenade when it went off, leaving the boys dead and the
ir sister injured.
The girl was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Daggar.
Police and security forces launched a search operation in the area. Separately, five security forces personnel s
ustained injuries in a roadside blast in Damadola
area in Bajaur Agency on Sunday, official sources said.
