RAWALPINDI: Excise and Taxation Departm
ent Islamabad sealed 110 properties while conducti
ng an operation against property tax defaulters.
According to media reports, Rs 8,000,000 were not paid by these defaulters on account of outstanding arrears against the property tax.
The Excise and Taxation Department staff has till now recovered Rs 2,670,000.
In the supervisio
n of ETO zone 1 Nazia Javed, about 50 properties have bee
n sealed and while the department has made a recovery of more than Rs 1,200,000.

der the supervisio
n of ETO zone 2 Riaz Hussain Qureshi, 60 properties were sealed with the recovery of Rs 1,468,000 from defaulters.
