PESHAWAR: The Special Police Unit claimed to have arrested four extortionists and recovered extortion money from their possession during a rai
d in Peshawar.
On a tip-off, the police conducted a search operation in Peshawar and arrested a gang involved in extortion activities. The police s
aid that the gang was demanding Rs 0.5 million extortion from a per
son. All the gang members hailed from Faisalabad. The poli
ce recovered Rs0.365 million extortion money from the extortionists.
The police have
shifted the detainees to police station for further investigation.
